Rolling stock specialist Chris Hoskin joins Steer Davies Gleave

Steer Davies Gleave is pleased to welcome rolling stock expert and chartered mechanical engineer Chris Hoskin, who joins us as an Associate. Chris has extensive experience in rolling stock strategy planning, procurement and engineering. He will lead Steer Davies Gleave’s global rolling stock capability.

Chris recently returned to the UK from Australia where he led a leading rolling stock consultancy team located across Australia and New Zealand.

While in Australia, Chris advised on: rolling stock design standards  for the transport agency of New South Wales; the procurement of new electric multiple units for the cities of Auckland, Wellington, and Sydney; the procurement of new and refurbishing existing rail vehicles in Kuala Lumpur. He has also provided expert advice for the Sydney Light Rail expansion, Auckland City Rail Link, Sydney railways 2040 plan and the Queensland regional rail future projects.
